Our Identity
DAL Architects | Designers, a Grade-A Architectural Consultant established in Qatar, operates in the fields of architecture, urban planning, landscape design, interior design, restoration of heritage projects as well as research and development.
DAL is inspired by the Arabic word ‘دال’ which can be translated to ‘to orient’, ‘to guide’ or ‘to lead’. As a noun, it can also mean ‘function’ or ‘use’ of a object. This reflects the studio’s commitment for well-designed architecture that can have a positive effect on people; and building spaces of inimitable simplicity that can show the ‘way’, enlighten and elevate.

DAL Architects | Designers is a studio-based practice founded on the premise that lives are oriented by the qualities of the places we live in. We believe that places can tell stories, evoke memories, trigger sensations and stimulate imagination.

Dalal Farhat Harb
DAL Architects & Designer’s Managing Principal, Dalal Farhat Harb, has over 30 years of international experience in the practices of Architecture, Project Master Planning, Project Design and Management. With a strong technical and managerial knowledge, Dalal has successfully delivered a notable array of complex and diverse range of projects ranging from mixed use, commercial, residential, public, governmental and cultural projects including urban planning and design, restoration of heritage projects in the MENA region.
A creative and dynamic architect with passion for high quality design and high level of technical expertise, Dalal has a strong commercial acumen and proven managerial ability to deliver complex projects on time and budget, with acute design sense coupled with a strong technical background.
