Set amidst the terraced hills of Lebanon, this private residence blends contemporary architecture with the natural beauty of its surroundings. The project consists of three houses delicately woven into the terraced landscape, originally shaped by stone retaining walls for olive tree plantations. The main house crowns the highest terrace with a clean, linear design and an optimized layout that opens onto expansive views. Below, the swimming pool follows the land’s natural steps, while two smaller semi-buried guest houses are nestled into the lower terraces, discreetly integrated into the terrain.

The design embraces a minimal, contemporary aesthetic, with planted roofs that blur the boundary between architecture and nature. Large glazed facades frame panoramic views and flood the interiors with natural light, creating a seamless connection between indoor spaces and the landscape. Carefully considered to accommodate a phased construction process, each house can be built independently without compromising the others — offering both flexibility and long-term sustainability. The result is a harmonious retreat where architecture enhances, rather than disrupts, the beauty of the site.
